Logline: Nathan Miller is recently divorced but he hasn’t gotten around to telling his parents (Margo Martindale and Beau Bridges) about it yet. When he’s finally forced to tell them, they decide to split up, and Nathan’s mom moves in with him and his dad moves in with his sister. The result: everyone’s life gets turned upside down.

SSN Insight: It’s tough not to love Will Arnett; he’s an attractive, likable guy and in this sitcom, his character is just trying not to hear any intimate details about his parents’ relationship. Margo Martindale and Beau Bridges are cast well as the couple who have been together for so many years, they can tell what the other is doing, even when they’re on the phone with each other. Margo Martindale is a familiar TV face, especially from her sensational turn as Mags Bennett on FX’s Justified. In this show, she’s not killing people with homemade moonshine, but she can really turn out a joke. The humor in the pilot episode was broader than expected, but with a cast of this caliber, and comedy support in the form of J.B. Smoove (Leon from Curb Your Enthusiasm) we’ll keep watching.
